NEXT-GENERATION, BEAM-CENTERING BRAKE SHOE
The FlangeGuard design reduces brake beam shift, resulting in more even brake application and wear pattern. It also reduces lateral forces on the wheelsets during braking, leading to less force being applied to the wheelset. This larger footprint provides more even pressure and temperature distribution.
