Transit Components

The most performant adhesion management solution on the market featuring a new generation of algorithm capable of dynamic self tuning upon actual adhesion conditions, eliminating the need for setting, and reducing dramatically the braking distance elongation in degraded adhesion conditions.

Metroflexx and Regioflexx - next generation, advanced integrated brake control for single and double pipe systems for mass transit and mainline trains.

Supplies the output pressure (BC) through a main relay valve, piloted by electro-pneumatic circuitry. Designed for semi-high speed trains and metros.

Designed for Metros, the brake control panel supplies pressure to the brake cylinder line through the relay valve. It is piloted by an electro-pneumatic circuit comprised of solenoid valves and pressure transducers operated in a closed-loop by microprocessor-controlled electronics.

Combines brake control electronics and wheel slide protection (WSP) to provide a safe and reliable braking system. Utilizes a number of sensors to monitor speed, braking force, and wheel slip to consistently ensure safe and smooth train stops.

The Man Machine Interface (MMI) mounted in driver’s desk for application and release of Auto Brake and Independent Brake on 3 phase electric locomotives.

Used for application or release of auto brake during electronic failure on phase 3 electric locomotives. It is operated by means of a 'joystick' type handle, which controls the charging and discharging of the brake pipe.

Supplies the output pressure (BC) through a two-port relay valve, piloted by an electro-pneumatic circuitry (magnet valves and pressure transducer operated in closed loop) or through back-up distributor valve

Magnet-activated piston dosage developed for precise batching of sand- and for the safe blocking of the sand container. The functional principle was developed in a similar way to that of a piston-operated valve. It is activated by a hoist magnet.

Modular design Disc Brake Caliper for axle or wheel mounted discs, allowing service brake, parking brake C3 Caliper designed for all rail market segments to work under extreme operating conditions.

An integrated, network-based, electro-pneumatic brake system designed for UIC type mainline freight and passenger locomotives. Utilizes a modular design approach based on distributed electronic architecture.

A  safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly brake system. Provides improved braking performance, reduced maintenance, and increased lifespan in addition to having a lesser environmental impact. For use on a variety of railway vehicles.

Measures the speed of any wheel down to zero speed. The train’s direction is detected using the 2-channel model which delivers phase-displaced signals. The sensors include magnets, making it unnecessary to magnetize the phonic wheel.

Senses the concurrent C0level in the CAR while remaining connected to the HVAC controller. Reduces energy consumption by controlling fresh air and C02 concentration inside the train without compromising passenger comfort.

Remotely monitors and performs system failure diagnostics. Provides real-time alerts and maintenance schedules based on data. For use on locomotives, metro, and high-speed brake systems.

Daily compressor oil checks, and oil and filter replacing/recycling have been the operator’s burden for decades making oil-free technology a must. The Buran oil-free piston compressor is our answer for a greener, cleaner air generation system for transit trains.

Designed for use with conventional or high-reach catenary systems. Catenary height ranges from 4.54m to 7.57m from the rail level with the maximum speed of 200kmph (dedicated freight corridor).

Engineered to mitigate the consequences of a collision in a controlled manner. Car-body flange acts as assembly interface (via bolting) with car-body plate. Deformation tube is welded to car-body flange with elastomer pad assembly.

For use between coaches and at the loco and coach connection. A muff coupling is used to join two semi-permanent coupler halves. Physically validated for high-compression load capacity of 2000 kN, tensile load capacity of 1000 kN, and bending load capacity of 300 kN.

Developed with the latest technology, meeting all requirements of ICF specification 306 for Vande Bharat Train (18) and EN14752 safety norms. Suitable for speeds up to 200 kmph. All electric version and other custom options available.

The smart infrared sensor quickly detects fires in the railway environment. Designed to detect temperature and gradient of temperature and can detect the fire in stages, as it develops.

New green-line sintered products set standards in performance and sustainability. Significantly improves urban air quality, generating up to 90% less fine particles mass during brake application.

New blue line organic products set standards in performance and ecology. Complies with demanding new performance standards while improving sustainability

An add-on option to enhance electro-pneumatic brake system performance. Regulates brake pipe pressure by means of the EP valve. Charges and discharges brake pipe pressure for each individual coach as needed.

A split version of the standard WMD R680G for use on XMUs and Metros. Performs exactly like the standard model in terms of thermal capacity, mechanical strength, and friction behavior. The split design allows for exchange of worn discs without disassembly of wheelsets.

Service and parking brake for use on a broad range of rail applications. Designed to operate in extreme conditions and has a lengthy, service-proven history. Adapts to UIC and AAR standard block holders for different wheel specifications

The high definition ceiling display is the perfect companion for rich travel information. Its remarkably thin design provides an impression of lightness while being extremely robust.

Bring driving monitoring to a whole new level, whether it be video recording, storage capacity, cyber protection, or safe driving operations. The hardware modularity and advanced configuration features give TOM great flexibility to meet the needs of all types of rail vehicles.

Metal & polymer part 3D printing for railway applications to support you with lead-time & obsolescence challenges. With the latest in 3D printing machines (including fire smoke capabilities) and more than 10,000 parts already in service, we offer a full and comprehensive range of services specifically designed for railway - Wabtec and non-Wabtec parts.
